Award-winning Li-Tang (Lewis) Chen is a sought-after US and Taiwan-based composer and orchestrator, writing and orchestrating original music for film and TV, as well as multimedia and concerts. A native from Taiwan, he possesses a classical and pop music background, and infuses his versatile talents in a wide variety of works, which have been performed at festivals and concerts in the United States, Europe, and Taiwan.
Inspired by classical music composers such as Debussy, Ravel, Strauss, Rachmaninoff, and Stravinsky, and contemporary film music composers such as Jerry Goldsmith, Ennio Morricone, Alexandre Desplat, and John Powell, Li-Tang’s music exhibits a perfect blending of traditional musical elements and instrumentation along with modern technology. In addition, his oriental roots allows him to explore more acoustic possibilities from greater Asia, providing a uniques voice to his music.
Graduated from University of North Carolina School of the Arts with his Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Music Composition, Li-Tang studied Orchestration with Kenneth Frazelle, Counterpoint with Lawrence Dillon, and film music with Chris Heckman and Bruno Louchouarn. He also actively participated in several renowned music festivals including Atlantic Music Festival, Impulse New Music Festival, Fusion Film Scoring Workshop (Greece), NYU Film Scoring Workshop, etc.

配樂作曲家陳立唐，其音樂融合了現代科技與傳統管弦與室內樂元素，針對不同專案創造獨特聲響。目前常態性地於電影、電視、電玩、及多媒體產業貢獻原創音樂，也持續涉足音樂會音樂作品，並獲得各地不同領域的創作委託及肯定。
畢業於美國北卡羅萊納藝術大學（University of North Carolina School of the Arts）、並獲得電影音樂作曲碩士（MFA in Film Music Composition），曾師事 Chris Heckman、Bruno Louchouran、Kenneth Frazell、Laurence Dillon、Rod Abernethy 等，也在課堂外與多位著名作曲家如 David Ludwig、Nils Vigeland、Amy Beth Kirsten 等進行大師課。另也私下與好萊塢管弦配編曲家 James Sale、Norman Ludwin 學習電影音樂。
近年陸續投入各式影視配樂、音樂會作品製作，其作品散見於美國各大知名電影學院及國內外影展。2022 年以動畫配樂《島影》獲得第 44 屆台灣金穗獎最佳音樂獎。2021 年以動畫配樂《Coincidate》獲得台灣關渡國際動畫節評審團優選最佳配樂。2018 年參與德國柏林國際電影配樂比賽（BIFSC）入圍最佳 25 作品名單。
近期作品包含金馬入圍動畫《島影》配樂、劇情短片《看海》、Cc Percussion 委託創作《Reflections》、多項影展入圍劇情短片《泳夜》《居家防疫日記》配樂、北藝中心中文音樂劇《龍櫻》作曲、阮劇團劇本農場台語音樂劇《女鬼與城隍》作曲等。
